The driver of the northbound car was transported to Stanford Hospital with major injuries
Redwood City, CA. – Justyn Snyder, 29, was killed in a car crash on Monday evening in Portola Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 35 just south of the intersection with Highway 84.
A car was traveling northbound when it drifted across the double yellow lines to pass slower vehicles and collided head-on with a southbound car.
Snyder, a resident of Union City, was driving the southbound car and was killed in the accident, according to the San Mateo County Coroner’s office.
The driver of the northbound car was transported to Stanford Hospital with major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
