Geohaira Sosa Killed in Sacramento Scooter Accident on Alhambra Boulevard
Sacramento, CA. – 32-year-old Geohaira Sosa has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as the woman died after being struck by a car as she rode a scooter in Sacramento on Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Alhambra Boulevard at Capitol Avenue, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The woman was riding an electric scooter and was hit by a box truck.
Police say Sosa died at the accident scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
