Woman Killed in Portland Vehicle Collision on Barbur Boulevard

Portland, Oregon (July 14, 2023) – A woman was killed, and another party was hospitalized after a two-car accident Friday afternoon in Portland.

The fatal crash was reported just before 2:30 p.m. on Southwest Barbur Boulevard, just east of Barbur Transit Center.

Two vehicles were involved in the deadly accident.

A woman, whose identity was not disclosed, was declared dead at the scene.

One person was transported to a hospital by ambulance for treatment. Their condition was not immediately released.

Southwest Barbur Boulevard was blocked between Southwest Capitol Highway and 30th Avenue.

More details regarding the mishap were not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
