Milagro Nieto-Campos Killed in 10 Freeway Accident in Colton

San Bernardino, California (February 6, 2022) – 59-year-old Milagro Nieto-Campos of Pacoima was among two people who were killed in a car crash Saturday morning in Colton, authorities said.

The fatal wreck happened at about 2 a.m. on February 5 on 10 Freeway at Pepper Avenue.

Two vehicles collided on the westbound side of the freeway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the crash sent the vehicles down a ditch.

The police said one of the drivers, Jose Carranza, 54, of Pacoima, and his passenger, Nieto-Campos, were pronounced dead at the scene at 2:22 a.m.

Further about the accident was not provided.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
