At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Tulare County Crash on Highway 99 near Rankin Road

Tulare County, California (October 8, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured in a Friday morning truck accident in Tulare County, authorities said.

The major injury accident occurred at about 9:41 a.m. on Highway 99 near Rankin Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi-truck collided with a red Chevrolet Malibu on the roadway for undetermined reasons.

As a result of the crash impact, the Malibu reportedly went through a chain-link fence near Tex Drive.

At Least 1 Injured in Highway 99 Crash

At least one person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the involved vehicles.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
