Rider Killed in Lake Los Angeles Crash on Avenue O near 170th Street East

Lake Los Angeles, California (October 25, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that took place in Lake Los Angeles Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened on Avenue O east of 170th Street East just before 5:30 a.m. October 24.

CHP said a 27-year-old Palmdale woman was driving a 2011 Subaru westbound on Avenue O when she collided with a motorcyclist that made a right turn from a Chevron gas station onto Avenue O.

The impact ejected the motorcyclist from the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old Palmdale man, was killed in the accident.

The operator of the Subaru was not injured.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the collision. An investigation is ongoing.
