Guadalupe Bororquez Killed in Fresno County Crash on Conejo Avenue
Fresno, California (February 21, 2023) – Guadalupe Lopez Bororquez, 57, of Kettleman City, was among two people killed in a collision involving a vehicle and a train in Fresno County on Sunday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place in the area of Conejo Avenue west of Peach Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. February 19.
Authorities said Jorge Martinez Escalante, 57, of Kettleman City, Bororquez’s husband, was driving a sedan westbound in the area when he went around the downed railroad crossing arms and was hit by a northbound train.
Both occupants of the sedan died at the scene.
No one on the freight train was hurt.
The authorities are investigating the wreck.
