According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 4:06 a.m. on May 20, the driver of an SUV was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Indian Hill Boulevard off-ramp when the car collided with a black sedan.

Claremont, CA – At least one person was transported to the hospital after a wrong-way driver caused a multi-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Claremont, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 4:06 a.m. on May 20, the driver of an SUV was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Indian Hill Boulevard off-ramp when the car collided with a black sedan. At least one other vehicle was also involved in the accident.
At least one person who sustained unspecified injuries was transported from the scene by a ground ambulance.
Four lanes of the eastbound freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard were closed during the morning hour rush following the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
