Yolanda Cisneros Killed in Mecca Car Accident at 68th Avenue and Grant Street

Mecca, CA. – Yolanda Villanueva Cisneros, 52, was killed in a car accident that also claimed the life of a man on Friday morning in Mecca.

The double-fatal collision happened near the intersection of 68th Avenue and Grant Street at around 10:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A northbound Toyota Tacoma reportedly collided with a Toyota Tundra that was traveling westbound.

Villanueva Cisneros and 55-year-old Fernando Villanueva Alvarado were in the Tundra and were killed in the accident.

The driver of the Tacoma, a 25-year-old man, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.

CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
