Yamhill County, OR – One person was killed, and one other was injured following a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 154 Thursday morning, according to the Oregon State Police (OSP).

The collision occurred on Highway 18 at the Highway 154 junction at approximately 8:06 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

According to OSP’s preliminary investigation, Abbygale Elizabeth Cain, 33, of Lafayette, was driving a Honda Civic northbound on Highway 154 when she attempted to cross Highway 18 and traveled into the path of an eastbound Audi AS4 operated by Isaac Andres Cisneros, 32, of Dayton. The impact caused both vehicles to enter the westbound lane, where the Audi was struck by a westbound Freightliner flatbed truck driven by Kevin Loren Holstrom, 48, of Portland.

Isaac Cisneros, the driver of the Audi, was declared deceased at the scene. Cain reportedly suffered minor injuries, while Holstrom was not injured.

OSP troopers responded to the scene and were assisted by the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, Dayton Fire and Rescue, Lafayette Fire and Rescue, McMinnville Fire District, and the Oregon Department of Transportation during the investigation.

Highway 18 was impacted for approximately five hours as emergency personnel conducted the on-scene investigation and worked to clear the roadway, resulting in traffic delays in the area.

The fatal Yamhill County crash remains under investigation by the Oregon State Police as officials work to determine contributing factors. Authorities did not report any arrests related to the three-vehicle collision.
