Woodland, CA – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Wednesday morning near an intersection in Woodland, the Woodland Police Department reported.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash around 5:02 a.m. on September 2, 2026, near Kentucky Avenue and Palm Avenue.

Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found a white pickup truck with damage to the hood and a sedan with damage to the front, sides, and windshield.

At least one person was taken to the hospital with major injuries.

Details about the cause and manner of the crash were not immediately available.

Investigators closed eastbound Kentucky Avenue between College and East Streets and Palm Avenue, south of Kentucky Avenue, as they worked the scene.
