Cochise County, AZ.- Virgil Glenn Baker, 48, of Duncan, was killed in a hit-and-run accident while riding a motorcycle near St. David in Cochise County on Saturday morning.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the two-vehicle accident occurred at around 11:20 a.m. October 4, on SR 80 at milepost 304.

Baker was reportedly riding a motorcycle in a group of other riders when he was struck head-on by a driver who was attempting to overtake multiple other vehicles on SR 80.

According to AZDPS, Baker was declared deceased at the scene.

No other motorcyclists were injured.

The driver who struck Baker fled the scene after the crash but was later located and arrested.

The suspect, Miguel Astorga, 21, of Huachuca City, was arrested on manslaughter charges.

The incident is under investigation.
