Portland, OR – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died in a collision Friday evening in Portland’s Centennial neighborhood as 37-year-old Steven Lagrew.
The collision occurred around 5:43 p.m. on October 2, at Southeast Division Street and Southeast 174th Avenue.
According to investigators, Lagrew was riding a Yamaha R7 motorcycle east on Division Street when he collided with a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze turning into a parking lot.
Lagrew sustained severe injuries and died at the crash scene.
The woman driving the car was not hurt.

Portland, OR – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Friday evening at an intersection in southeast Portland.
According to the Portland Police Bureau, the accident was reported around 6 p.m. on October 2, 2026, at Southeast Division Street and Southeast 174th Avenue.
Responding paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead on arrival.
The cause of the crash was not immediately determined.
Investigating officers closed SE Division Street between SE 174th Avenue and SE 175th Place.
