South , CA. – A 23-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway near Exposition Boulevard, authorities reported.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3 a.m. and involved at least three vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found one man unresponsive. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office as Jose Reyes, 23.

His city of residence has not been released.

A SigAlert was issued at 3:22 a.m., shutting down lanes 3, 4, and 5 of the southbound . All lanes were reopened around 7:58 a.m. as the investigation continued.

South LA, CA.- One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in South LA on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred on the Harbor (110) Freeway at Exposition Boulevard at around 3 a.m.

At least three vehicles were involved in the collision in the southbound lanes of the freeway.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At least three southbound lanes were shut down following the collision.

There were no further details on the crash.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
