Fresno, CA. – 10-year-old Corday Brown died when he was struck by a vehicle Sunday in Southwest Fresno, according to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.
Brown was crossing Golden State Boulevard near State Route 99 when he was hit by a southbound car.
The boy was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police do not believe impairment was a contributing factor.
