Nguyen, a resident of Portland, was transported to the hospital where she later died
Portland, OR. – 71-year-old Tuyet Nguyen has been identified as the pedestrian who died in a collision on Sunday, January 26, in Southeast Portland.
According to Portland police, the accident happened around 6:43 p.m. in the 4200 block of Southeast César E. Chávez Boulevard, south of Southeast Powell Boulevard.
The man was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
Nguyen, a resident of Portland, was transported to the hospital where she later died.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
