Investigators reported that a man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Broadway Boulevard in the median lane when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a vehicle.

Tucson, AZ – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a vehicle early Friday morning in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.
At around 2:00 a.m. June 27, authorities received reports of a collision in the area near East Broadway Boulevard and North Campbell Avenue.
Investigators reported that a man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Broadway Boulevard in the median lane when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a vehicle.
Tucson police and the Tucson Fire Department immediately responded to the scene after receiving reports of the incident.
The motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene. He was identified by the Tucson police as Jose Nadir Parra, 41.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Parra was at the scene when the authorities arrived. Police reported that the driver was not impaired and was not arrested.
