Tricone Sanford Killed in Palmdale Truck Collision on Avenue M

Palmdale, California (September 2, 2021) –44-year-old Tricone Raymond Sanford, of Lancaster, has been identified as the driver who died following a three-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in Palmdale, according to a report by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

The deadly crash occurred on Avenue M east of 30th Street East at about 11:11 a.m. on August 31.

A 1998 Chevy Suburban driven by Raymond eastbound in the number two lane of Avenue M reportedly swerved into the number one eastbound lane of Avenue M, where it crashed with a 2013 Ford Fiesta.

Due to the impact, both automobiles veered into the westbound lanes of Avenue M before being hit by a truck transporting two trailers of hay.

Tricone Sanford Fatal Palmdale Crash

Sadly, Sanford was declared dead at the crash site.

The Ford motorist survived with moderate injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
