Todd Lyman ID’d as 1 of 2 Men Killed in Fresno Crash on Clovis Avenue near Ramona Avenue
Fresno, California (August 5, 2021) – Todd Lyman, 53, of Colvis, has been identified as one of the two men who were killed in a Wednesday afternoon traffic accident in east-central Fresno, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 4:40 p.m., on August 4, on Clovis Avenue near Ramona Avenue, just north of the intersection of Clovis and Shields avenues.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Lyman was headed southbound on Clovis Avenue when his Chevy Trailblazer veered to the right and hit a curb, causing him to lose control and shear off a fire hydrant.
The Chevy then crashed into three other parked vehicles, including a Toyota Camry that was occupied by Magal Bhatti, 32.

Sadly, Lyman, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Bhatti sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
