Stanislaus County, CA – One person was killed in a crash involving a John Deere on Wednesday morning in Stanislaus County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident transpired on Marshall Road on Wednesday, September 23.
According to CHP, a Ford pickup truck pulling a livestock trailer was heading east on Marshall Road at approximately 45-50 mph when it crashed into an eastbound John Deere.
The impact of the collision caused the driver of the John Deere to be ejected.
The 71-year-old driver of the John Deere was killed in the crash. His identity was not immediately released.
The operator of the Ford, identified as Michael Barcellos, 48, was not injured and remained at the scene.
According to the CHP report, impairment was not believed to have factored in the incident.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation and further details are expected to be released.
