King County Medical Examiner Identifies Man Killed in Motorcycle Collision at Fairmount Park Intersection

Seattle, WA – 21-year-old Alonzo Rackley died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Wednesday night at an intersection in the Fairmount Park neighborhood of Seattle, the King County Medical Examiner reported.

The incident was reported around 10 p.m. on August 19, 2026, at 35th Avenue SW and SW Brandon Street.

Seattle Police Department detectives and Seattle Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene after multiple callers reported a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

The paramedics transported Rackley to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He died in the early morning hours on Thursday.

According to the Medical Examiner, the motorcyclist’s cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries. The death was ruled an accident.

The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The crash is under investigation by the SPD’s Traffic Collision Investigation Squad.
