Santa Fe Springs, CA – At least one person suffered major injuries in a traffic collision that took place Monday evening on the 605 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs.

California Highway Patrol officers and other emergency personnel responded to the southbound 605 Freeway just north of the 5 Freeway after the wreck was reported around 6:34 p.m. on July 27.

A gray Lexus and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons, causing the Lexus to roll onto its roof, blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes.

At least one person was taken to the hospital with major injuries.

No other details were available, but an investigation is ongoing.
