Santa Ana, CA – A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a car Friday evening on the 405 Freeway in Santa Ana, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
The accident happened around 7:41 p.m., May 29, on the northbound side of the 405 Freeway between MacArthur Boulevard and Jamboree Road.
A motorcyclist collided with another vehicle and fell off his motorcycle into the traffic lanes.
First responders found the rider bleeding after sustaining major injuries. The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.
All northbound lanes of the freeway near the crash scene were blocked following the crash. The Jamboree Road exit from the freeway was affected by the closures, and some motorists were reportedly using the Jamboree Road on-ramp to exit. All lanes were back open by around 8:41 p.m.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
