San Jose, CA – Minor Injuries Sustained in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-680

According to CHP logs, the pileup occurred around 2:21 p.m. on September 4, 2026, on southbound Interstate 680, just south of the McKee Road on-ramp.

San Jose, CA – At least one person sustained minor injuries in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday afternoon in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to CHP logs, the pileup occurred around 2:21 p.m. on September 4, 2026, on southbound Interstate 680, just south of the McKee Road on-ramp.

Three cars, including a black Tesla and a black sports car, were involved in the crash.

At least one person suffered minor injuries in the crash. The patient was offered medical aid by responding paramedics.

The Tesla and the sports car were towed away from the scene.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
