San Jose, CA – Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle at Blossom Hill Rd and Thornwood Dr

According to the San Jose Police Department, the unidentified man was crossing Blossom Hill Road when he was hit by a 2005 Acura SUV traveling eastbound.

San Jose, CA – A pedestrian died about a week after he was struck by a vehicle near an intersection in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident transpired around 10:12 a.m. on August 13, 2026, near Blossom Hill Road and Thornwood Drive.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the unidentified man was crossing Blossom Hill Road when he was hit by a 2005 Acura SUV traveling eastbound.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with severe injuries. He died last Wednesday while receiving treatment.

The man driving the car stopped and remained at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
