San Francisco, CA – Several people were injured in a collision involving a Muni bus in the Mission District area of San Francisco on Monday evening.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the wreck happened near 17th and Mission Streets at around 4:39 p.m. April 20.

Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle collided with a Muni bus near the intersection. Details on what led up to the collision were not immediately available.

Emergency crews arrived shortly after and rendered aid to multiple parties injured in the accident.

Four patients were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities reported that the hospitalized parties were the driver of the vehicle and three bus passengers.

There were no arrests made as a result of the accident.
