San Francisco, CA – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in the Richmond District area on Monday morning, according to a report by the San Francisco Police Department.
The accident occurred on Anza Street and Arguello Boulevard at about 2 p.m. on September 28.
According to investigators, a person was struck by a car near the intersection for unspecified reasons. Authorities were still working to find out what exactly led up to the accident.
SFPD officers arrived at the scene shortly after and rendered aid to the injured pedestrian.
The victim was then rushed to a hospital by paramedics but was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The driver was at the scene when authorities arrived and was cooperative with investigators.
There were no reports of any arrests in connection with the incident.
