San Francisco, CA – An adult and a child in a stroller were struck and injured by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood, the San Francisco Fire Department reported.

The accident was reported around 3:45 p.m. on July 1, 2026, at Sacramento Street and Powell Street.

According to SFFD, a person pushing a stroller and the child in the stroller were struck by a car driven by an elderly driver under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrians were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

The driver was also injured but did not require hospitalization.

San Francisco police are investigating the accident and do not believe impairment was a factor.
