Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Crash on 5 Freeway near 43rd Avenue On-Ramp
Sacramento, California (August 2, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury Sacramento crash that happened Sunday afternoon on 5 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 12:07 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, near the 43rd Avenue on-ramp.
A gray Honda Pilot, a white Chevrolet Tahoe, and a white Minivan were involved in the crash.
Caltrans responded to the scene after receiving reports about the crash.
Authorities said the pileup resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties. An ambulance was called to the scene to provide medical help to the motorists.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
