Reports by the California Highway Patrol indicate that Everhart was driving a black Kia Forte northbound on Highway 160 when she drifted into the southbound side and collided with an oncoming white Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Rio Vista, CA – The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a woman who was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Rio Vista on Sunday morning.
Ajani Leona Everhart, 21, of Sacramento, was the victim of the incident that occurred at about 5:30 a.m. September 27, on Highway 160 near Sherman Island Cross Road.
Reports by the California Highway Patrol indicate that Everhart was driving a black Kia Forte northbound on Highway 160 when she drifted into the southbound side and collided with an oncoming white Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Everhart was the sole occupant of the Kia and was killed in the crash.
The two people riding in the Ford were taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
It’s unclear whether impairment played any role in the incident.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident.
