Motorcyclist Killed in Napa County Crash on Wooden Valley Road

County, CA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash that occurred in Napa County on Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck took place in the 1700 block of Wooden Valley Road at about 2:20 p.m. March 8.

Police reported that a Triumph motorcycle was traveling northbound on Wooden Valley Road in a curve when it collided with a southbound Chevrolet.

The two occupants of the Chevrolet and a witness helped pull out the rider, who was pinned underneath the vehicle.

The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash led to the closure of Wooden Valley Road for nearly three hours.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
