At Least 1 Killed in Prunedale Car Crash on Highway 101 and Crazy Horse Canyon Road

Prunedale, California (September 13, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a fatal car collision that happened Monday morning in Prunedale.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place just after 6:00 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 near Crazy Horse Canyon Road.
At least two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Siena at the scene and two parties trapped in the wreckage.
The firefighters extricated the parties.
At least one person suffered significant injuries and died in the accident.
A party reporting the accident said there might be a third vehicle involved in the accident. The party advised that a big rig may have been sideswiped.
CHP is investigating to establish what transpired leading to the collision.
