Placer County, CA – One person was injured in a traffic collision that happened Sunday afternoon at an intersection in the Loomis area of Placer County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 12:48 p.m. on October 18, 2026, near Laird Road and Quinn Place.

A Dodge Ram pickup truck and a white Nissan Altima were involved in the accident. The vehicles were blocking the roadway.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped at least one person who suffered minor injuries.

Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
