Pinole, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident in Pinole on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:51 p.m. on the westbound 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road.
Two vehicles and a pedestrian were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
