One Injured in Isabella Lake Plane Crash
Isabella Lake, California (August 3, 2021) – A pilot was injured when a plane crashed into Isabella Lake on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
Just before 2:23 p.m., the pilot was trying to take off from the South Fork boat launch area when the plane clipped a tree and crashed into the lake.
The pilot was able to get out before the plane sank.

Authorities said the pilot suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The incident is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
