According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place at around 7:44 p.m. September 18, on Wilson Ranch Road near Avenal Street.
Phelan, CA – One person was airlifted after a multi-vehicle collision on Friday evening in Phelan.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place at around 7:44 p.m. September 18, on Wilson Ranch Road near Avenal Street.
Preliminary reports indicate that three vehicles collided and the impact caused a sedan to overturn. As a result of the crash, one person was trapped in the rollover vehicle.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene and helped extricate the trapped party, only identified as a man in his 40s.
The extricated patient was then flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of a head laceration.
Wilson Ranch Road was temporarily shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
