A pedestrian was walking on SR 167 when they were hit by a pickup truck
Puyallup, WA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Puyallup early Wednesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The collision occurred on State Route 167, just south of 44th St E at around 6:32 a.m.
A pedestrian was walking on SR 167 when they were hit by a pickup truck.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The driver of the truck cooperated with investigators and was not suspected to have been impaired.
A garbage truck is believed to have also struck the pedestrian.
The operator of the garbage truck stopped at the scene after the incident.
The WSP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
