Police repored that a pedestrian walking in the southbound lanes of Campbell Avenue was struck by a passenger truck

Tucson, CA.- A pedestrian was struck and killed by multiple vehicles in Tucson early Thursday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident took place on Campbell Avenue near Irvington Road on Thursday, August 14.
Police repored that a pedestrian walking in the southbound lanes of Campbell Avenue was struck by a passenger truck.
The victim was then hit by two other northbound vehicles.
The involved drivers stayed at the scene after the accident.
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
According to police, speed and impairment were not suspected in the crash.
The accident is under investigation.
