Los Angeles, CA. – One pedestrian was killed and another was hospitalized Thursday night after a hit-and-run crash in Lake View Terrace, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Foothill Boulevard near Kagel Canyon Street.
The driver of a red 2005 Honda Accord 4-door coupe struck a 46-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man who were crossing Foothill before fleeing the scene.
The woman died on the spot.
The man was taken to a hospital with severe injuries.
The victims' names have not yet been released.
A car's bumper and other debris were recovered at the location.
LAPD said the driver remains at large as investigations continue.
