Eugene, OR.- A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Eugene on Thursday afternoon, according to Eugene Police.

The incident took place on Clark and Madison streets at around 3:41 p.m. February 20.

A 50-year-old was reportedly hit by a Dodge Durango that was being driven by a 40-year-old man.

The Springfield Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

The driver of the Dodge, a 40-year-old man, was unhurt and stayed at the scene.

The Eugene Police Department is investigating the accident.
