1 Killed in Pasadena Pedestrian Accident on 210 Freeway at Lake Avenue
Pasadena, California (August 2, 2021) – A person was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in Pasadena.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported at about 9:05 p.m. August 1, along Foothill (210) Freeway at Lake Avenue.
The pedestrian was walking along the eastbound side of the freeway when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was declared deceased at the scene, the CHP said.
No details about the identity of the deceased were immediately disclosed.
The accident led to the closure of the carpool and two other lanes of the freeway as investigators examined the scene.
