San Francisco, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Francisco on Thursday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
The incident took place on Howard and 7th streets at about 2 p.m. May 1.
Police reported that a vehicle struck an adult walking a dog in the area.
The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The dog died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
