Morgan Hill, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Morgan Hill on Wednesday night, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department.
The incident took place on Cochrane Road and Madrone Parkway at about 10:23 p.m. August 6.
According to the police, an adult male was hit by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes of Cochrane Road.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Police reported that impairment was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
