Oildale, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in Oildale on Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on North Chester Avenue, south of Warren Avenue, at about 7 p.m. January 2.
A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle for unspecified reasons.
The victim was transported with moderate to major injuries.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
