According to CHP, a Toyota pickup truck struck a 42-year-old man in the area under unclear circumstances
Oildale, CA.– A pedestrian was hit and critically injured by a vehicle in Oildale on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on North Chester Avenue and Roberts Lane at around 8:47 p.m. August 17.
According to CHP, a Toyota pickup truck struck a 42-year-old man in the area under unclear circumstances.
The man was rushed to Kern Medical with major injuries to his head.
The driver of the truck was not believed to have been impaired, according to the CHP.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
