Granite Bay, CA.– A pedestrian was injured in a suspected hit-and-run collision in the Granite Bay area on Saturday afternoon, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place at about 3:20 p.m. in the 7800 block of Leona Way.
According to police, a pedestrian was hit by a driver who allegedly fled the scene after the crash.
The victim was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
A suspect was placed under arrest following the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
