Portland, OR.- A pedestrian was struck and severely injured by a vehicle in Portland on Tuesday evening.
According to the Portland Fire & Rescue, the incident took place on I-5 near the Burnside Bridge overpass.
A pedestrian was walking southbound along the median when he stepped into the roadway and was hit by a tractor-trailer.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with major injuries believed to be life-threatening.
