Pacifica, CA: Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Devil's Slide Trail

Pacifica, California (September 4, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a motorcycle collision that left one person with serious injuries on a highway in Pacifica Friday afternoon.

The major injury crash happened on Highway 1 near the Devil's Slide trail just about 3:00 p.m.

It was not immediately established how a motorcyclist crashed with a silver Toyota Camry on the southbound side of the highway.

Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bike and sustained major injuries.

The unidentified victim was rushed to the Zuckerberg General Hospital for medication.

The Toyota reportedly acquired a broken front tire and moderate front-end damage following the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
