According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 3:30 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 just south of the University Avenue off-ramp.

East Palo Alto, CA. – At least one person was severely hurt in a traffic collision that took place Wednesday afternoon in East Palo Alto.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 3:30 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 just south of the University Avenue off-ramp.

First responders found a white Ford with moderate front-end damage after it had collided with another car.

At least one person was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

Several traffic lanes were blocked following the collision.
