Santa Cruz County, CA. – One person died in a head-on collision involving a bus that happened Saturday morning in Ben Lomond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 8:22 a.m. on the San Lorenzo River bridge along Highway 9 near Brackney Road.
A silver Toyota Tacoma and a bus were involved in a head-on collision.
Firefighters and Caltrans personnel responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the crash.
The report said one person was killed in the crash.
It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
The roadway was closed until around 1:14 p.m., when all lanes were reopened.
